Assaults

• Parker County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to Denver Trail around 8 a.m. Wednesday for a report of assault family violence. According to information from the sheriff’s office, a 46-year-old man reportedly chocked his 38-year-old wife at their residence in the 300 block of Reese Loop near Azle. The woman reportedly fired a handgun during the altercation, according to the sheriff’s office report. The woman sought medical treatment at a local hospital.

• Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to Robyn Drive near Aledo around 10 a.m. Thursday for reported domestic disturbance. The Parker County Sheriff’s Office arrested Joe David Morgan, 35, of the 1300 block of Robyn Drive, around 11 a.m. for assault of a family member by impeding breathing or circulation. Further information was unavailable Friday.

Property offenses

• John Wesley Black III, 32, and Kristin Renee Black, 30, both of Weatherford, were arrested Wednesday evening on a warrant for claiming a lottery prize by fraud or deceit. According to the probable cause affidavit, Weatherford police believe the two stole lottery tickets from a convenience store in the 2000 block of South Main where Kristin Black worked in November. An employee of the business alleged she found an excessive number of scratch-off tickets in the trash and receipts did not add up, according to the court record. Store surveillance allegedly showed John Black reaching behind the counter to get the tickets, according to court records.

• A burglary was reported between Sunday and Wednesday in the 10 block of West Fort Estates Road by unknown persons, who reportedly entered a shed and took a weed eater and toolbox without consent, according to information from the Parker County Sheriff’s Office.

• A theft of scrap metal, tool boxes, batteries, an A/C unit, an expanded metal cart and fire extinguishers was reported from the victim’s carport next to his residence in the 400 block of Raley Road between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. June 8, according to information from the Parker County Sheriff’s Office.

• James Trammell, 49, of Weatherford, was arrested by Weatherford police Wednesday for possession of a controlled substance, more than 1 gram, less than 4 grams.

• Ashley Stambulic, 24, of Weatherford, was arrested Wednesday by Weatherford police for driving while intoxicated.

• Robert Caldon Cochran, 42, of Meridian, Miss., was arrrested Wednesday by the Parker County Sheriff’s Office on two warrants for insufficient bond.

• Cary Boyce McKnight, 50, of Burleson, was arrested Wednesday by the Parker County Sheriff’s Office on an off bond warrant.

• Tracy Don Jackson, 46, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Wednesday by the Parker County Sheriff’s Office on two warrants for criminal trespass of a habitation.

• Tiffinie Deann Mahaney, 33, of Weatherford, was arrested Wednesdayby the Parker County Sheriff’s Office on warrants for no insurance and expired registration.

• Jason William Gillespie, 32, of Weatherofrd was arrested Wednesday by the Weatherford Police Department for possession of marijuana, less than 2 ounces.

• Gary Christopher Evans, 20, of Springtown, was arrested Wednesday by Weatherford police for possession of marijuana, less than 2 ounces.

• Christopher Morris, 23, of Weatherford, was arrested Wednesday by Weatherford police for public intoxication.

• William Bronson Flowers, 41, of Cleveland, was arrested Wednesday by Hudson Oaks police for driving while intoxicated, third or more offense.

• Saundra Ellin Richards, 46, of Azle, was arrested Thursday by the Parker County Sheriff’s Office for driving with an invalid license with a previous conviction.

• Christopher Glen Livers, 26, of Granbury, was arrested Thursday by the Parker County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for motion to revoke probation for forgery of a financial instrument.

• Brian Jerrold Clark III, 22, of Weatherford, was arrested Thursday by the Department of Public Safety on an off-bond warrant.

• Billy Ray Jenkins, 26, of Fort Worth was arrested Thursday by the Parker County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for motion to revoke probation.

• Byron Cameron Jerome, 26, of Grand Prairie, was arrested Thursday by the Parker County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for promotion of prostitution.

• John Wayne Cleaver III, 25, of Fort Worth, was arrested Thursday by the Parker County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for insufficient bond.

• Jonathan Hardy Lewis, 30, of Springtown, was arrested Thursday by the Parker County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for theft of property, over $500, less than $1,500.

• Katherine Rose Shalton, 18, of Springtown, was arrested Thursday by the Parker County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for possession of marijuana, less than 2 ounces.

• Jeffrey Sean Rigstad Jr., 21, of Weatherford, was arrested Thursday by the Parker County Sheriff’s Office on a motion to revoke probation warrant.

• Michael Guzman, 23, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Friday by Hudson Oaks police for public intoxication.

• Christopher Lee Eads, 26, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Friday by Hudson Oaks police for driving while intoxicated with an open container of alcohol.

• Agustin Pinon Ortega, 52, of Granbury, was arrested Friday by Hudson Oaks police for public intoxication and on an Immigrations and Customs Enforcement hold.

• Oscar Ortiz, 35, of Santo, was arrested Friday by Hudson Oaks police for possession of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram.
