Rev up your engines, today, I'll show you how you can neatly and safely change your oil, by removing the drain plug and replacing it's one of these cool valve systems.

Now lots of guys want to change their own oil, but they don't want to make a mess, they're worried that if they didn't put the bolt on right, it'll be cross threaded, then they have to buy a new oil pan or it'll leak.

With this system you never have to worry about those problems.

Again, this particular tool was invented by a guy here in Houston Texas, used to be the Air Force, he's got a lot of knowledge and he put it into this neat product that I'm really impressed by, and, as usual, nobody's paying me to say anything about it, I, try out these products.

If they're good I talk about it.

Now, when you're changing the oil in a normal car, you take the drain bolt out.

Then oil generally starts spurting all over the place, and a lot of people are worried when they put it back in, they don't get it tight or they get it too tight and then they strip it and it won't come off, with this new system.

You don't have to worry about that anymore.

You only have to put this on once, once you take the old drain, bolt out, you put this in and then it's sealed, there's a little check valve inside here that keeps the oil from going, it's shut and even if it dripped a little there's an o-ring seal here and it's got a nice little cap, and that keeps it from leaking, even if something happened and it dripped a little.

And if you look at the cap itself, inside it has a third seal.

So there's three layers of protection, so you're not going to be dripping.

Oil, and I know people are going to say.

Oh Scotty they've had these drain valves for years, but the problem with the old one is, and I tried them out, most of them have a little petcocks.

You open the petcock it drains you close it.

Well, if a rock or a stick or anything ever hits that petcock, and it lets loose.

There goes your oil and your engine will blow up, plus, if you know anything about petcock valves.

Eventually they all wear out and they will start leaking.

Well, you don't want your oil to leak and this thing as a brilliant design that bypasses all those problems, and we're not talking cheap construction here.

This is all solid metal.

Even the valve assembly is metal and it's easy to install.

Once you have the old oil drained out, you just screw this in.

It comes with a metal gasket that goes inside.

Then you unscrew the cap and get a wrench and torque it on just right.

So it fits tight and it won't come loose.

Then, once you've done that, that's it! You never have to take that piece off again, you just put the cap on and that only needs to be finger.

Tight, it's just a cap, then when it comes down to change the oil check, this out, you just have to unscrew the cap and then get the drain tool with the nice little hose coming off of it, and while you screw it on, that opens the valves inside.

Any oil just comes out the tube neatly, instead of spilling all over the place, the oil drains right into your little pan or if you want- and you got enough clearance, you can just stick this hose right into a 5 quart container and then just put the top on when you're done and you can recycle the oil, and when you're done, you just take it off and finger, tighten the cap on again that's it.

Now, admittedly, you do have to clean something up, this tiny little hose.

You got to wipe it down and drain it out.

If you're real fanatic, you spray some carburetor cleaner to clean it, but me I, just put it in an old bucket, so I can use it next time.

So all in all this Valvomax oil change, system, it's pretty cool, and since this is a mechanic's Monday, I'm giving one of these away, just remember to have a chance to win place.

A clean non-offensive comment on the youtube comments: below, and a winner will be chosen randomly by a computer, and if you have a product that you think is really great feel, free to send me.

One, I'll.

Try it out, I'm an honest man, if it's good I'll tell the world about it.

So if you never want to miss another one of my new car repair, videos, remember to ring that Bell!.
